Readings by Rich Smith, Anastacia-Renee, Donald Dunbar, Christine Shan Shan Hou, and Sarah Galvin begin at 8pm.
After the reading, Boyfriends will play, followed by a dance party featuring DJs Grody Cody and Angel Baby (from Shannon and the Clams). We will dance until we can dance no longer.

POET BIOS :
Rich Smith is the author of ALL TALK (Poor Claudia, 2014) and GREAT POEM OF DESIRE AND OTHER POEMS (Poor Claudia 2013). He's also the books critic, theater critic, and national politics correspondent the Stranger, a newspaper in Seattle. You can find recent work on his website at www.richsmithpoetry.com.
Anastacia-Reneé is a queer super-shero of color moonlighting as a writer, performance artist and creative writing workshop facilitator and Writer-in-Residence at Hugo House. Her newest full-length title (V.) will be published by Gramma in July, 2017. She has received awards and fellowships from Cave Canem, Hedgebrook, VONA, Jack Straw, Ragdale and Artist Trust. Her Chapbook 26, (Dancing Girl Press), is an abbreviated alphabet expression of the lower and uppercase lives of women and girls. Her poetry and fiction have been published in Painted Bride Quarterly, Literary Orphans, Bitterzoet, Radius Poetry, Seattle Review, Duende, Bone Bouquet, Daily Gramma, and many more. Recently Anastacia-Reneé has been expanding her creative repertoire into the field of theater and her one woman show, 9 Ounces is a social justice play braiding together three generations.
Donald Dunbar is the author of Eyelid Lick (Fence Books, 2012). His newest full-length title SAFE WORD will be published by Gramma in July, 2017. He lives in Portland, OR.
Christine Shan Shan Hou is a poet and artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her newest full-length title COMMUNITY GARDEN FOR LONELY GIRLS was published by Gramma in March, 2017. Previous publications include“I'm Sunlight” (The Song Cave 2016), C O N C R E T E S O U N D (2011), a collaborative artists’ book with artist Audra Wolowiec, and Accumulations (Publication Studio 2010).
Sarah Galvin's newest full-length title UGLY TIME was published by Gramma in March, 2017. She is also the author of a book of poems, The Three Einsteins (Poor Claudia 2014) and a book of essays, The Best Party of Our Lives (Sasquatch 2015). Her poetry and essays can be also found in Daily Gramma, The Guardian, io, New Ohio Review, Vice Magazine, and Pinwheel, among others. She is a regular contributor to The Stranger newspaper. She is a winner of the 2015 Lottery Grant, a 2015 James W. Ray award nominee, and was considered for what would have been the first Radio Flyer Wagon DUI in Washington State history.
